Mackenzie & Matt • Married • Yosemite

The possibility of a thunderstorm didn't phase Mackenzie and Matt during their Yosemite Valley elopement. The moody skies were the perfect backdrop for such an equally epic moment in time. They were joined by their moms to committ to each other for life in El Capiton meadow. Just as the ceremony ended it began to rain. A storm was coming so they hurried and signed the marriage liscense under cover of a rain jacket and a seqouia tree and we waited it out for about 10 minutes until the rain passed in my car soaking up what had just happened. We continued to adventure around the valley and take photos, getting to know each other better as time went on. It was just as special for me to be included in such an amazing day. Just before sunset the sun came out to reveal it's golden glow.
