Shooting Film
Lately I have been playing around with my dad's old Nikon FM2 35mm camera. There's something sacred and unique about film that we take for granted in a digital camera age. Getting into photography during the rise of digital photography, I never had the opportunity to discover the magic of film until now. The thrill of waiting for your images to be developed and the caution you use when you shoot is something that is entirely new and exciting to me. Sure it may not be cost efficient, but there is value in taking your time to make a photograph as opposed to shooting on rapid fire mode with a digital camera. Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful for digital photography and I don't know where I'd be without it. But there is just something about the beauty and the texture of film that can't be replicated with any 'filter' or 'action.' Here are a few photos I have taken in the past couple months. If you like what you see, keep in mind we are totally open to bringing along a roll of film for any session and just having fun with it.
